We do activities
We gather occasionally and informally to watch birds, share knowledge, and enjoy the rhythms of West Texas. Whether you're new to birding or have a life list as long as a scissor-tail flycatcher, you're welcome here. Check below for upcoming activities.
Community Meeting
The Trans-Pecos Sports and Outdoors Association is a non-profit organization that aims to enrich and preserve Vizcaino Park. Vizcaino is our largest park in the Marfa area, with the highest golf course in Texas, a stage, ball fields, and plenty of space to BBQ and grill. The golf course provides some of the best birding in the tri-county area.
TPSOA is holding an information session and inaugural meeting on Sunday February 15, at 2pm at the Marfa Municipal Golf Course.
Come learn about our mission and how to get involved. All are welcome!
